February 2007, we had a visit from Leeds' own 'Kaiser Chiefs, whilst we were playing 'Ruby'.
We are looking forward to seeing The Irregulars play, they are a great band and so young. Peanut (Kaiser Chiefs) YEP 06-10-2007.
Well I have heard some good things about you guys but I was astounded at your performance the other day. Outstanding to say the least. Cleve Freckleton (Chunky but Funky).
Just seen The Irregulars at The Foresters Arms, Wakefield. Four talented young lads with an average age of 14. All good musicians and singers (even without a monitor system!) and a nice clear sound. If these lads stay together and keep their feet on the ground they have a great future. Dave (coAst). 6-9-2007. Posted on Rock of the North’s Comments Page.
Really enjoyed the gig we will certainly come along to see you again. Great set very well executed overall I was gobsmacked !!! keep on Rockin' Hope to catch you all up soon.. all the best Little Dave Eric.
You guys were awesome on Thursday, no kidding, I had a smile on my face every minute you played, gobsmackingly tight and assured. Great choice of songs too, and not easy options either, fantastic, regardless of age, you were tighter than many "adult" pub bands out there, and controlled too. Keep it going lads, you put us old buggers to shame! (Sam Eric)
‘It’s almost as if these 4 write our songs.' (Nick Hodgson - Kaiser Chiefs)
‘very tight band’ (Sam -The Eric’s)
‘nice work lads keep the faith’ (The Standards)
‘Everyone’s been raving about your set’ (Mainline)

Fans of Leeds band Kaiser Chiefs have the chance to win a set of handwritten, signed lyrics at a special gig in aid of the Holbeck Music Trust on Thursday. Young bands Emergencies, Duels, Last Gang and Heads We Dance will all perform at the show at Stylus at Leeds University.
Revellers can also enter a raffle for £1 a ticket and be in with a chance of winning the handwritten lyrics to Ruby, which was the first Kaiser Chiefs single to reach number one in the charts.
The event, which will raise funds to buy facilities and equipment for young Leeds musicians, is a follow-on from a fundraising gig at The Wardrobe, which saw Matt Bowman from The Pigeon Detectives sing with Leeds teenagers The Irregulars.
Entry to Thursday's show, which starts at 8pm, costs £4.
Hi Guys hope everythings going well, sorry I haven't been in touch for ages. We've been busy recording our album, so haven't spent much time out of the studio!
